Red Oak is the most commonly used hardwood in the United States. Produces good results with hand and machine tools. Red Oak responds well to steam-bending also it glues, stains, and finishes well.Our lumber comes from the Midwest getting us the good red color and less gray or mineral streaks. All material is kiln dried on site to 6%-8% MC producing a stable product specifically for cabinet and furniture makers.
